Last updated: September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Human Hope Foundation ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit https://shop.humanhopefoundation.com (the "Site"), buy supporter items or contact us. By using the Site you accept the practices described below.
1. Who we are
Who we are
Human Hope Foundation is a domestic nonprofit corporation organized under the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA (Articles of Incorporation filed September 15, 2026; New Mexico Secretary of State Business ID 3302198). EIN: 42-5098932.
Principal and mailing address: 1501 Hermosa Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you order or contact us, we collect your name, shipping address, email address, phone number (only if you provide one) and order details such as the items purchased, amount paid, order number and date. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). Your card number, expiration date and security code are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never stored on our systems; we receive only limited details such as the card brand, last four digits and payment status. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, date and time), which we use to keep the Site secure and working properly.
3. How we use your information
- to process your order, take payment through Stripe and deliver your items;
- to send order confirmations, shipping notifications and tracking numbers;
- to answer questions and handle cancellations, returns and refunds;
- to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- to keep accounting, tax and corporate records required by law; and
- to maintain, protect and improve the Site.
We send marketing email only if you ask for it, and every such message will include an unsubscribe link.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only:
- with Stripe, to process payments, prevent fraud and handle refunds and disputes;
- with shipping carriers, who receive your name, address and any phone number in order to deliver your order;
- with service providers that host the Site, deliver our email or help ship orders, and who may use the information only to perform services for us;
- when required by law, such as a subpoena, court order or lawful government request; and
- to protect rights and safety, including enforcing our Terms of Service and investigating fraud.
5. Cookies
The Site itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics that follow you across other websites. When you proceed to checkout, Stripe may set functional cookies needed to complete your payment and detect fraud, as described in Stripe's cookie policy. You can block cookies in your browser, but doing so may prevent checkout from working.
6. How long we keep information
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to fulfil your order, handle returns and meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations, generally seven years from purchase. Server logs are normally kept no longer than 90 days unless needed to investigate a security incident. Support correspondence is kept until your request is resolved. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to order information to the people who need it. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS certified processor, and we never store full card numbers. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, and opt out of marketing. To exercise these rights, email support@humanhopefoundation.com with the subject line "Privacy request" from the address used for your order. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we respond within the time required by law and in any case within 45 days. We may keep records the law requires us to retain, such as order records for tax purposes.
10. California residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request its deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law. You or an authorized agent may exercise these rights by emailing us as described above.
11. Residents of the European Union and United Kingdom
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under the GDPR and UK GDPR on these legal bases: performance of a contract (your order), compliance with legal obligations (accounting and tax records), our legitimate interests (site security and fraud prevention) and, where applicable, your consent. You have the right to access, rectify or erase your information, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local supervisory authority. Human Hope Foundation is the controller and can be contacted at the address below.
12. International transfers
Human Hope Foundation is located in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Site from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept it.
